Transportation

Transportation is available from Lubbock, TX for a nominal fee. Parents who will be transporting their camper to Monakiwa can find a detailed map available here on the website. Monakiwa will provide transportation from Lubbock, TX if you are unable to transport your camper yourself. The fee for transportation is $200 round trip and $100 one-way. Transportation will leave from the Camp Fire Office (in Buddy Holly Park) promptly at 10:30 A.M. on the first day of each session and will return at approximately 5 p.m. on the last day of each session.

Transportation is limited so we must know by May 31st if your camper will need a ride. Anyone registering after this date needs to call for availability.
